Distinguished Hooded and Educated Hoodie

Inspiration:

In 2012, people from all over the world flooded social media with pictures of themselves wearing hoodies in solidarity after the death of a teenage black male named Trayvon Martin. Trayvon’s hoodie became a significant piece of evidence in his trial while also reminding us of the narrative that black males are perpetual targets. The hoodie became a symbol of demonstration, yet for some, especially Black males, the hoodie became a symbol of harassment and judgment. Some Black males are still hesitant to wear hoodies out of fear of being targeted or even killed.

This hoodie is in honor of Trayvon Martin, all the Black males that have been targeted for wearing a hoodie, and all those who are still hesitant to wear a hoodie in certain places or spaces.
